Regional e-Commerce Director

This position plays a key role in driving the growth of e-Commerce business and delivering against financial targets as well as core KPIs. He/She will be responsible for driving the e-Commerce growth & sales attainment. Manage country online business managers & functional resources drive towards achieving weekly / monthly / quarterly & annual plans with robust execution, improving segment & cross functional team alignment. Ensure 360 degree alignment on 4P, demand generation, campaigns, merchandising promotion & operations plans across key stakeholders.


Scope of Business / Function – Key Areas of Responsibilities


Achieve financial objectives

  • Top line revenue – Grow & Optimize various online route to markets / go to market

  • Gross Profit $ - driving the right segment / product / price & promotions mgmt

  • Shipped Units – deliver strong PTM across all key markets across central asia pacificregion

  • Manage business P&L & PCON growth

Planning & Strategy

  • Responsible to operationalize Annual, quarterly plans & improve state of readiness of execution

  • Work in synergy with the rest of CAP team to identify quarterly growth plan & new opportunities

  • Lead & initiate quarterly planning, regular BMS meeting cadence & interlocks with the key stakeholders

  • Conceptualize & support innovative online campaigns, big bets focus areas, driving merchandising excellence with WPC & improving website conversion programs

Team management & leadership

  • Inspire & deliver performance-driven culture across the team

  • Build strong R&R / RACI within the e-Commerce team & cross functional team members

  • Engage & establish rhythm with segment leadership & country GMs, as well as relevantstakeholders to drive “e-Commerce first” & “One team” mind-set

  • Ensure sufficient dedicated & exclusive portfolios for e-Commerce, robust supply forecast planning, early time to market readiness, right product right pricing as well as establishing clear rules of engagement

  • Be approachable & identify motivational drivers of team members to capitalize on individual strengths

  • New biz growth : new routes / innovative go to market models / new markets expansion

  • Investigate & determine new growth opportunities, new biz model development,

  • Work with extended teams to implement site optimizations, enhancements and business opportunities

  • Support implementation of account management / B2B enablement via LPRO, inside sales transformation & gaining stronger alignment with regional leadership to hack new growth opportunities

Operations

  • Conceptualize & support executions of online campaigns, merchandising plan, cart to order conversion programs (CRO), stock optimization & FGI / ageing management

  • Handle escalations & build strong collaboration & partnership with local teams, which includes Ops, Finance, Product, Consumer, SMB, Marketing, Services & Logistics team.

  • Conduct in-depth review & analysis of campaign results and sales, co-relating activities with portfolio performance & optimizing performance marketing accordingly

  • Co- work with the offshore WPC/supporting teams, which includes production, product operations, marketing operations, sales support, fulfillment teams to ensure business SLAs/ processes are achieved

  • Accountability for the regular operational issues, such as customer escalations, cancellations, inventory etc

  • Liaise & review with regional / global / country teams on site improvements, support levels, new capabilities on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience within e-Commerce management & execution

  • Managed “sizeable” online business

  • Demonstrated experience in e-Commerce B2C & B2B; ideally in PC / electronics industry

  • A strong understanding of e-Commerce operations, strategy, sales planning & business development

  • Ability to drive strategy and change while implementing, analyzing and reporting on numerous concurrent e-Commerce projects

  • Knowledge of the latest trends, technologies and platforms for e-Commerce

  • Passion for engaging in improving own knowledge and skills.

  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives

  • Superior analytical skills and experience in applying data & insights to make decisions.

  • English language proficiency; Asian language will be a plus (but not mandatory for the right candidate)
